Lake Nojiri (野尻湖) is located in Shinano town, Northern area, Nagano prefecture. The second biggest lake in Nagano prefecture. Lake Nojiri is known well to discover the fossil of Nauman elephant. There is the Nojiri Lake Nauman elephant museum. In the summer season, many tourists visit Lake Nojiri to enjoy some water activity! Canoe, Fishing, Rowboat, Sightseeing ship and much more.

LET’S GO LAKE NOJIRI FISHING!

There is some lake activity at Lake Nojiri, Fishing is one of the popular activity! In summer season visitor can fish for black basses. In the winter season, visitor can smelt fishing.

When trying the fishing, a visitor must get a fishing ticket. A visitor needs to buy the ticket (700 yen ~ 1,200 yen) at a rental boat shop and hotel around Lake Nojiri.

UGA SHRINE IN THE CENTRE LAKE NOJIRI

There is a mysterious shrine in the center of Lake Nojiri. This shrine is known well as a power spot. The name of the shrine is Uga Shrine. There is some way to go to the shrine.

A sightseeing boat go to the shrine after making a tour Lake Nojiri. A departure time is 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00. The ticket price is 1,100 yen(adult), 550 yen(under 15 years old).

Visitor can go to the shrine by a swan boat that is rowboat. Taking about 20 minutes from the rowboat station to Uga shrine. In the summer season, rowboat is a little bit hard. We recommend to take a towel.

Visitor can go to the shrine by canoe.
