NAGANO TRIP

From Nagano Station-Get the Snow Monkey Pass, Where to Buy? Price?-
Visitors should buy “Snow Moneky Pass”. This pass sells at Nagano Dentetsu Nagano Station. It is not the same JR Nagano Station. Please be careful! The price is 2,900yen. If you can get this pass, you will take a special direct bus from Nagano Station to Jigokudani Onsen. And it includes the entrance pass of Snow Monkey Park!!

POINTS TO BE CAREFUL OF JIGOKUDANI SNOW MONKEY PARK
The best season is winter, but the visitor needs to be careful of slip on a snow road. If you can park your car on the free parking, you need to walk about 15 minutes until the snow monkey park. So a visitor should wear snow boots. But no problem you forget snowboots, visitors can rent snowshoes.

A snow monkey has a typical life cycle for a usual monkey. Snow monkeys become adults at age 4, and in captivity, they live up to 30 years.

WHEN CAN SEE SNOW MONKEYS-Can see April? Take a tour? baby monkey?-
If you go in April, you’re probably not likely to see monkeys. Instead, baby snow monkeys may be seen from April to June. Usual snow monkey tour takes until the last of March. Those who want to see for sure should go by mid-March.
