This town doesn’t have a national road and train station. I never say easily accessible. But Ikeda town has typical Nagano’s attractive points and “feel good” contents. If you come to Ikeda town, Your mind and body will be healthy.

If you visited Nagano city and Matsumoto city, I recommend Ueda city as the next destination. Ueda city is one of the most popular sightseeing areas in Nagano prefecture.

Zenko-ji temple is one of the most famous temple in Japan. This temple’s Honzon (principal image of Buddha) is Amida Nyorai statue from China. However, this culture was originally comed from India.
