Kamakura (鎌倉) is a small city in Kanagawa prefecture, Japan. Kamakura is located just near Tokyo. The JR Yokosuka Line for Zushi is the earliest connection from Tokyo to Kamakura. It takes about 1 hour. Kamakura is an ancient place, so there are many historic destinations in a small area.

Todaiji Temple (東大寺) is well known for its “Daibutsu” or “Great Buddha” is a representative temple in Nara prefecture. The building of the great buddha hall (Daibutsu-den) is the largest wooden structure in the world.

There are several famous sightseeing places around Nagano prefecture. Today, we introduce Takayama and Shirakawago that both are located in Gifu prefecture. Nagano and Gifu prefectures are next to each other. If you come to Nagano, please go to Gifu!
